Covid-19 Information

This page is intended to give you all the information you need to know when visiting clinic.

What to expect when arriving for treatment

Due to the relaxation in COVID-19 rules clinic is now returning to normal!

You MUST wear a mask in the building, waiting room and during treatments.

If it your first visit, please say hello to the reception staff and they will help guide you to the appropriate waiting room on the first floor.
If you have been before, feel free to wave at the receptionists and make your way straight up the waiting room.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: IF YOU PARK IN FRONT OF ANOTHER CAR PLEASE MAKE RECEPTION
AWARE OF YOUR NUMBER PLATE AND THAT YOU ARE HERE TO SEE ANDRE.

Many of the cars are staff cars and will have a sign to stating that you can "block them in" as they will not need to leave.
Cars that do not have such a sign may be another patient or visitor to the clinic and may wish to leave before you do. There have been numerous incidences of patients waiting upwards of 30 minutes to leave as they have been "blocked in" and the patient/visitor did not inform the reception staff of their whereabouts. This is incredibly stressful for all parties involved.

What PPE actions have been taken?

From copious reading of medical literature I have acquired the following PPE:
1) IIR face masks. I will wear a new mask with every new patient. Furthermore, I will also be providing every patient with a new IIR mask at the start of every session.
2) Nitrile Gloves. These latex-free and powder-free gloves are the most hypoallergenic gloves available. I will wear a new pair of gloves with every new patient.
3) Disposable plastic aprons. These aprons are intended to be a second precautionary barrier from direct person-person contact. I will wear a new disposable apron with every new patient.
4) Eye wear in the form of goggles and a face-shield have been acquired. To see the greatest level of respect for my patients, I have acquired both in order to cater toward patient preference for which I should wear.
5) Alcohol gel of 70% ethanol or soap can be used upon entry and exit for patients to use. I will also use these options before every patien enters the clinic.
6) Sanitiser wipes will be used after each patient has left their appointment for all clinic surfaces, door handles, coat racks etc.
7) I will also be opening the door for 10-15 minutes between every patient in order to achieve adequate air exchange.
8) I have allocated 15 minute time gaps between each and every patient booking appointment times in order to allow for air exchange, disposal and replacement of all PPE items as well as cleaning of all surfaces.
